The Secret Life of a Slummy Mummy by Fiona Neill

Um livro fácil e com um bom ritmo de leitura, que fala sobre o dia à dia de uma dona de casa inglesa chama Lucy Sweeney, sua relação com os filhos, marido, amigas e familia.

Iniciei a leitura desse livro sem muita expectativa, e apesar de que esta foi uma leitura divertida e com boas risadas e momentos de diversão, aconselho que caso inicie a leitura deste livro esteja preparado para momentos de monotonia e ao mesmo tempo que depois da página 250, parar a leitura será muito difícil.

Minha opinião é que muitas vezes os acontecimentos são forçados y praticamente impossíveis de acontecer à mesma pessoa em uma única vida. Também em outros momentos o mesmo livro deixa a desejar por falta de detalhes em alguns momentos quando a escritora salta de uma ponta a outra sem maiores explicações.

De 1 à 10 minha nota é 6 + 1 por el final que surpreende.

Le fait du Prince – Amélie Nothomb

Here I’d like to start sharing my opinion about books that I’ve read, and maybe also start a chat / forum exchanging opinion with another readers.

This is the second book read from Amélie Nothomb, and I have to say that it’s a enjoyable readding although I didn’t really like the end. I’ve choosen it because of another book that I’ve read last month “Cosmetic de l’ennemi”.

And I have to say, if her books are all following the same model, I really don’t think I’d keep on readding. althought It was a interesting readding, I felt a little bit left aside, and got the feeling that she had much more to tell that I’ll never get to know it.

But I also have to say that during the readding and during and until at least the page 130 I had a great time, imagining what was the whole thing about, again onle the end was disappoint for me.

I can’t avoid saying the main character end with the same boring life he had before, and that he was a looser in all possible life matter, just like before the whole story. I mean, he was the best when it comes to be a looser.
